What are some reputable theatre conservatories/schools?
I don’t want to attend a state university, because I want the best possible education I can get. I would really like to get a B.F.A. in musical theatre. Preferably in the southwest [I live in Arizona], but I will consider anything, even other countries. I’ve already looked at the biggies, such as Julliard, Yale, AMDA [ScAMDA], but I’m just trying to broaden my choices.
SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) turns out some of the most talented theatre majors possible. The downfall of their theatre program, is that they can’t keep professors to save their lives, so no one can tell you how you have or haven’t progressed. The ones they do have, though, are very good. I highly reccomend it. (And Savannah is BEAUTIFUL)
